A boon for treating a global malady 


 

Introduction:
 

It is a common knowledge that the ACID PEPTIC DISORDERS have become the NUMBER ONE GLOBAL MALADY afflicting the mankind. The reasons are attributed to multiple factors of modern day’s living habits. Some of  the  chief causes  are, use  of  synthetic  compounds  in  food, imbalanced and irregular dietary habits, pollution, stressful  life, socio-economic / religious pressures &  restrictions  etc. Extensive and  unrestricted  use of  Modern  Medicines ( which  are  basically synthetic   compounds  having   invariable  side-effects )  are  the additional causes behind this malady. All these factors either alone or jointly have contributed to this global malady. The victims are found in all developed, developing and under-developed countries as well. The  early  symptoms  being  experienced  by the  patients are reported  as heartburn,  flatulence,  indigestion, abdominal  pains/ cramps, loss of appetite, constipation  etc. On these, when modern medicines are applied, they provide symptomatic relief only and that too with synthetic compounds.

All these disorders basically arise due to disturbed & imbalanced secretions of gastric/digestive juices coupled with irregulation in the nervous responses governing these secretions. Hence for near- permanent  cure  from  these  maladies, the  ideal  and   conceptual treatment  should aim  at  regulating the  secretory process of  the G.I.T. endogenously  by  balancing the  nervous  responses as  well.

 This is the root cause and none of the Modern Medicines really work here.     Dosage:

    2 teaspoonfuls, diluted in half cup of lukewarm water if bitterness is intolerable, or 2 capsules twice  or  thrice daily before meals. Good response is seen with use of Prepeptone at the onset of therapy. But treatment must be continued for three months minimum. It is important to take it before principal meals.

    Contraindications:

    No acute adversity has been reported since the use of this formulation.

The role of bitters in regulating the gastro-intestinal secretions and the related nervous responses; is an established fact right from ancient Ayurvedic age upto the Modern Medical  Science. Almost all the modern text books on pharmacology do acknowledge the role of bitters. Bitters also play a significant role in making the Liver functions efficient. Right from the secretion of Bile Juices, it's storage in gall bladder and up to it’s transmission at duodenum; play a dominant role in the entire digestive system (i.e. breaking down of food particles, its absorption / transmission and excretion of wastes).

Our non-synthetic, indigenous break-through PREPEPTONE is formulated on the same principles of bitters under scientific conditions in our government approved manufacturing laboratory. Each bitter herb is very carefully selected and procured from most authentic resources available in the country and then the decoctions are prepared as per the scientific norms laid in Text Books. Thus our PREPEPTONE is the Real Bitter Tonic and this bitterness is its unique property. ü  Antacids and anticholinergics for hyper acidity.

ü  Dilute Hydrochloric acid for Hypo chlorhydria and achlorhydria.

ü  Liver Extract and Lipotropic factors for the Liver disorders.

 The  antacids,  anticholinergics  and  dilute  hydrochloric acid  can extend  relief  only  for  the  time  being and force the patient to continue the treatment throughout their life.

Similarly, the Liver Extract and the Lipotropic factors as Choline hydrogen citrate and innositol, provide symptomatic relief to the patients and the patients have to incur medicinal expenses regularly during the remaining days of their life.
